VVols 1.0 is currently being qualified for ONTAP 9.1!
That’s right… Both SolidFire *and* ONTAP will have support for VVols. Somewhere, Pete Flecha (@vPedroArrow) is smiling.

Maybe 2.0? VVOLs 1.0 supported by any major storage vendor since 2015…

It’s VVol 1.0 currently. ONTAP 8.3 supported VVols, but ONTAP 9.0 did not. The qualification for support in 9.1 represents a shift from 9.0/.
